Land and Water Connections focuses on building community resilience through increasing equitable access to nature. We lead community-based planning and action-oriented research.
We design and lead equity-driven, community-based planning. We focus on creating park, trail, and conservation plans through fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders and reducing barriers to community participation.
Our research focus is on parks, conservation, land use policy, and the intersection of health, equity, climate change, and access to nature. Our team has expertise in social and natural science, and expertise in writing for audiences from academic and legal to policymakers and the public.
We provide strategic planning services for non-profits, foundations, and public agencies. In particular, we help park and conservation-focused organizations that hope to make their decision-making more data- and community-driven.
